it was hilarious.
have you seen the new video by blaze and sagar? i don't know the name of the song. but it really was terrible. and funny. though there wasn't any one thing that made it bad. the music was ok.. the usual indian background sitary music with western strings and drums. not my type. that wasn't what made made it bad. it wasn't the video either - black and white, 2 indian guys in gangsta get up, a young girl filling marbles in a glass jars, and other weird stuff that goes into making an indian english rap (sort of) song. artsy. it wasn't the song itself either - even though it went "... i believe in the prophet mohammed, i believe in the lord jesus, i believe in om namah shivaya.." and in the next verse rhymes moment with mohammed, saved us with lord jesus and because they couldn't get anything to rhyme with om namah shivaya, they say "i believe in om namah shivaya/ say it again/ om namah shivaya". nope, none of these.
they had subtitles in their video! that's what totally pissed me off. subtitles? for a song? and they had subtitles only for the english part of the "song". there were some parts in hindi, but those didn't have subtitles. and to make it worse, the subtitles were in a weird, thin, gray, staggered font. ugh. totally killed it.
